Known by his nickname, "Ruler Turtle," Archelon is the biggest turtle ever found. This aquatic reptile had enormous flippers that allowed it to swim quickly, and also had a hooked beak that allowed it to consume fish. In the shallows of the Late Cretaceous Period, it was able to float thanks to its enormous size and leathery carapace.

A swift predator, Nothosaurus had a long, flat skull and frightening needle-like teeth. Inspired by the popular Netflix series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous from Universal Pictures, Amblin Entertainment, and DreamWorks Animation, this unusual predator prowled the Late Triassic coastline, utilizing its webbed feet and tail to move through the water like a sealion does today.

A formidable armored fish known as Dunkleosteus prowled the open waters during the Late Devonian epoch. One of the most fearsome fish of its era, this hungry predator had a large, pointed jaw that could expand and close with great force.

With its massive, rotund body, Shonisaurus was a graceful giant of the Late Triassic era. Whatever its stature, this massive Ichthyosaur was a nimble hunter of the deep sea. Because it only had a long, thin nose, the Shonisaurus would have to use its stature to ward off potential predators.
