In The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, the Dwarves set out on a brand-new quest to retake Moria, their fabled home beneath the Misty Mountains. Together, players will construct, craft, survive, and explore the recognizable, expansive mines. Fearless explorers must remain alert as unexplained perils lie ahead.

Take back Moria, the Dwarven homeland.

Players assume command of a group of Dwarves sent by Lord Gimli Lockbearer to the Misty Mountains, where they must retrieve the lost treasure from the Dwarven homeland of Moria, also known as Khazad-dûm or Dwarrowdelf, in the abyss beneath their feet. They must have courage to go deep into the Moria Mines in order to retrieve its riches.

No two experiences will be the same in this randomly created Dwarven world of Moria, which can be explored online alone or with others. Gamers can mine for better equipment and supplies, but be careful—mining generates noise, and noise in the calm deep could alert others to the perils below—where there's clatter, there's fighting. Discover the secrets hidden behind three fabled mountains by excavating their mysteries, recovering rare metals, scrounging by on thin air, and facing horrifying forces.

-Feel the Fellowship: The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria weaves the rich lore of J.R.R. Tolkien's renowned fantasy universe into the very fabric, allowing you to experience the Fellowship of the Dwarves like never before.

-Survive the Dark: Players must control their sleep, temperature, and noise levels in addition to gathering food, hunting, and resource conservation in order to survive the perilous Mines of Moria. Make use of dynamic light systems to illuminate a wider area in the dark and to ensure safety. -Co-op Multiplayer: Play cooperative multiplayer online with up to eight players by going it alone or teaming up with pals.

-Craft Legendary Dwarven Armor, Weapons, Tools, and More: Construct and loot legendary Dwarven weapons, armor, tools, and buildings. Restore historic forges to fortify, mend, and enchant equipment. Upgrade and get access to amazing machines and new technology.

- Find Magic Artifacts: Find magical artifacts from the past, such as amulets that bestow strength or wisdom, maps of long-dormant Mithril veins, and swords that illuminate when Orcs approach.

-Mine Ore and Jewels: Create mines to uncover deposits of rare materials like mithril and valuable resources like iron, gold, and quartz. To upgrade equipment and turn ore into ingots, gain access to crafting stations and forges. But be warned—mining can awaken what lies in the shadows and is a noisy activity.

-A Comprehensive Dwarf Builder: By building their own Dwarf in the custom character generator, players immerse themselves in the world of Dwarven Legend.
