In this narrative-driven tactical card warfare game, create winning decks of warriors, weapons, and spells from four distinct factions. Battle your way through a number of important competitions, each with its own adversaries, settings, and even regulations. You take on the role of Finn, a young guy who needs to become an expert at the card game called "the Way" in order to stop a neighboring country from assaulting his home. To get close to their top commanders, infiltrate the tournaments they conduct. Once you arrive, it will be up to you what you do. Just keep in mind that your choices have an impact!

The basic rules of play are deceptively straightforward: each round, you can play one warrior and one support card. After that, all of your troops will move in the direction of the opposition and engage in combat if they are capable. But the trick is in how you build your deck, what combos you pick, and whether to hold back cards in favor of a greater chance. Most of the time, your rivals adhere to the same rules. Smart deck design can take use of the unique rules or special abilities that each fight may offer!

Warriors can be strong brutes on the front lines, weak archers, or spellcasters who provide support. Battlefield buffs come from equipment cards, whilst enemy damage or ally help comes from spells. There is no one right way to play; you may roll in with high damage archers and poison-wielding bandits to kill opposing warriors before they can even react, or you can construct a deck that combines strong fighters with armor and healing to grind down your opponents. In Ash of Gods: The Way, each combat is a skill-testing challenge with a unique objective and foes. You'll need to be as smart as possible to win, whether you're taking checkpoints, protecting your commander from a dangerous foe, or engaging in a series of one-on-one duels. Every battle's outcome matters a lot!

Make sure to take use of all available information about the battlefield. You'll come across power runes that might completely alter the outcome of a battle as well as traps that, depending on your tactics, could either be a threat or an opportunity.

There are no penalties for experimenting or switching up your strategies if your present ones aren't working. Simply swap out your cards and upgrades to try something new.

In Ash of Gods: The Way, you combine character cards and support cards to create your deck. Support cards give your characters bonuses or let them use potent spells while your characters are already on the battlefield. Both kinds of cards have the ability to be strengthened, and characters can learn brand-new abilities like deft counterattacks or armor-shattering blows.

There are five unique factions in the game, each with their own synergies and metagame advantages, and each card belongs to one of them. Gain access to new cards by winning matches, purchasing them, or finishing challenging objectives. You are free to combine and contrast the faction cards anyway you choose, or you may concentrate on just one.

AN INTERACTIVE STORY WITH MANY OPTIONS

The protagonist of the tale is a little boy named Finn who is sent on a perilous quest that could end a bloody conflict. Finn will have to live with the repercussions of some difficult decisions he will have to make. There are side tasks to do in addition to the non-linear main narrative, which is told through (completely voice acted) cutscenes and chats.
