The most recent add-on for Guild Wars 2 is called Secrets of the Obscure.

New dangers emerge once the planet is finally free from the Elder Dragons' taint. Defend the sky against intrusions from the Mists as you set out on an adventure to learn the secrets of the Wizard's Tower.

A NEW EXPERIENCE

Learn the truth behind the Wizard's Tower and Tyria's role in the universe by delving into the mysteries of the stars. In the Astral Ward, you'll meet new companions who will help you combat the bizarre Kryptis army that's invading Tyria via the Mists. New story material will be released both at launch and in future updates, making Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure a multi-part experience.

ASTROLOGICAL DEFENSE

As the armies of Kryptis creep out of the Mists and threaten our newly found peace in Tyria, you must join the Astral Ward and start on a journey to plug rifts, or tears in the fabric of reality. You will be able to acquire greater prizes and be sent on bounties to hunt more dangerous prey through the Astral Ward.

STRONG OPTIONS IN BATTLE

Thanks to a number of powerful system upgrades, you now have unprecedented control over how your battles look and feel. Relics give unique perks to your build, and the rune system has been overhauled to make it easier to use. Unlock weapons that were only available to the most elite in each profession. Each profession will eventually have access to a wider variety of weaponry in order to provide players with more varied and interesting ways to engage in combat.

COVER GROUND AND DO WAR

The process of obtaining your skyscale mount has been revamped in Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure. The skyscale and the new Masteries will be used to travel over massive aerial regions. There will be two new areas to explore above Tyria at launch, and a new map will be made accessible as the tale develops in subsequent updates.
