Domination, a Europa Universalis IV expansion pack, allows players to revisit some of the game's most powerful and well-liked nations. Domination features new goal trees, new political reforms, new estate management, and new events for some of the game's key countries, with a focus on the great empires of the Early Modern era. Empire of the Ottomans:

As you contend with the influence of the Shogun and the separate Daimyos, unite Japan. Select between keeping the nation isolated and opening it up to outside influence, while selecting various expansion and reform strategies.

Russia:

Transform your nation into a Mighty Empire by releasing it from the Tatar Yoke. As the game proceeds, your task tree and mechanics will alter and develop as you follow Peter's initiatives to modernize the state. To extend your Empire to the East and West, use the strength of the Cossacks and Streltsy.

Spain:

new mechanics for the new "Hispanic Monarchy" administration, expanded Castile and Aragon mission trees, and choices regarding the Army and Navy to get the powerful Tercios and Spanish Armada.

France:

Battle the Hundred Years' War's conclusion, consolidate France into an absolute monarchy while addressing the Wars of Religion, enlarge into Italy and the Holy Roman Empire, and oversee the Revolution through an extended mission tree.

United Kingdom

Deeper internal gameplay with special elements for the English Parliament and adjustments to the disastrous English Civil War are also included. Alternate pathways are available for either a British Empire or an Angevin Britain.

Small countries:

Changes to the mission, new rules for the government, and more flavor for Prussia, Portugal, and Korea.

• A fresh historical nuance

             Estate rights and other government changes for several major nations. For instance, the Ottoman Empire receives a dozen new reforms, and Russia grants a dozen new rights to its nobles (known as "Boyars") and peasants.

• Brand-new special units

            Three new types of land special units—"Samurai" for Japan, "Tercios" for Spain, and "Musketeers" for France—as well as six new naval special unit types for Portugal, Spain, Great Britain, Korea, the Netherlands, Genoa, and                Venice are included in the new naval special unit feature.

• Fresh Art:

            32 new unit sprites, four representing the West and four the East.

• Fresh music

            Three new songs with a French influence, three new songs with a Turkish influence, and three new songs with a Chinese influence.
